Marriage

Marriage

Marriage is a sacrament in which a baptized man and woman voluntarily commit to a lifelong covenant of love and fidelity. Through their union, they become a visible sign of Christ’s love for the Church and are called to grow in holiness and to raise their children in the faith of the Catholic Church.

Parish Office should be contacted one year prior to date. Marriage preparation course is required.

Congratulations on your engagement and on your intention to enter marriage! Thank you for choosing our beautiful church. We are very pleased to be able to celebrate your wedding day with you as a parish community.

Firstly, please contact the Parish Office to schedule a meeting with the pastor. Please do not book your wedding reception venue before meeting with the pastor. We must first confirm the availability of the date/time and also to ensure there is enough time to prepare for the wedding, as certain times the process can be delayed. This first meeting should take place one year prior to the wedding.

At the meeting, the priest will provide you with important information and answer your questions. Then you can begin preparing for the wedding.

Below you will find links to documents that will help you in your preparations as well as answer questions you may have.
